Venus will be retrograde From May 13 through June 25 this year. Our ancestors saw this cosmic dance (which happens 5 times in 8 years) as an opportunity to enact the powerful and universal human experience of loss and renewal.

This particular Venus retrograde seems to be about the lies we tell ourselves so that we can believe the lies of others, an issue we are facing in the world at the moment. What would it mean to show up as our authentic selves in relationship, and not a version we have created? In the midst of global self-isolation, some search for connection, and others burn out on it. Venus retrograde asks us to find in our heart what truly matters.

Aerin Fogel, astrologer and creator of Venus Fest, and Julie Simmons, astrologer of 40+ years, will be offering some astrological wisdom along with a ritual to honour this sacred journey. Using our own birth charts we will explore the question of lies, masks and love; consider what needs to be let go of and where resistance lies. This process allows us to make the journey of return with determination and to focus on what matters.
